my semi-ordinary life…

i went to torrance today and, as rizza aptly called it, we “pigged” out… and chatted the night away.

torrance was my home for about two years.  and going back today after leaving it 10 months ago gave me fond memories. 

i miss how easy it was to drive around the area as most drivers in glendale are crazee!!!  i have to be in constant vigilance for bad drivers here to avoid getting into an accident. 

i miss how convenient it is to get to the mall and other different places, not worrying about traffic and bad drivers.

i miss how it never gets hot.  i don’t think the temperature there reaches 80.

i miss the really great and quiet neighborhood.

driving back to glendale tonight, i realized how i miss driving alone, or make that, speeding alone on the freeway at night with michael buble blasting in the background… ahhh, such good times.  haven’t done that in a long time.

and i miss the every now and then get-together with rizza and joyce. 

glendale is my home now.  and i love my new life. and i love being married.

and i know it is good to look back every now and then=)
