the voice behind harry potter

for more than a week now, i have been obsessed with listening to the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows audio book at Imeem.com (http://www.imeem.com/people/1W0WpO/playlist/70NvmHb_/harry_potter_and_the_deathly_hallows_year_7_music_playlist/). i would have to say that nothing beats reading the actual book, however, listening to Jim Dale, the 73 year old English actor / singer-song writer, who narrates the books, is sooo much fun. he is just amazing! he has about 200 different voices for all the characters in the book. he makes harry, hermione, ron and the others so alive that i am so caught up with the story not noticing how late it is every time i shut off my computer every night. listening to the audiobooks on imeem is so much better than watching the movies too. i wish i could afford the audio books right now so that i could listen to it on our long drive this weekend…

Mr. Dale has won a Grammy Award and holds the record for creating the most voices in an audiobook in the Guinness Book of World Records.
